Maaz is a Milwaukee and Chicago based lighting designer and design assistant. They are a Marquette University graduate with B.A.'s in Theatre Arts and Digital Media. Maaz is also a 2022 Cody Renard Richard scholar and is forever indebted to those advocating for rising QBIPOC theatre artists.

Maaz is slated to design Ain’t Misbehavin’ for the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Annie for Music Theatre Works, I Am My Own Wife for Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, and much more this season. Additionally, Maaz will be serving as Assistant Lighting Designer under Jason Fassl for Come From Away at the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and served as the Interim Lighting Supervisor at Williamstown Theatre Festival last summer.
