Maaz is a lighting designer and design assistant based in New York City, with local housing in Chicago and Milwaukee. Maaz works full-time as a design associate with Studio RRD, and has worked in regional theatre at institutions including the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf, Milwaukee Rep, and American Players Theatre. Broadway credits include a DMC position on Bug, designed by Heather Gilbert. They are a Marquette University graduate. Maaz is also a 2022 Cody Renard Richard scholar and is forever indebted to those advocating for rising QBIPOC theatre artists.
